On April 23rd, in the beautiful Spanish city of Donostia-San Sebastián, at the special venue of the Aquarium Auditorium, we received the 2025 Quality Innovation Award for our Smart Grip Guard intelligent seat-monitoring system. 

With this recognition, the Smart Grip Guard has collected its third award, and this is the second time we have won the prestigious international Quality Innovation Award. Back in 2022, our AXIS PRO measuring device also received this honor. 

In 2025 more than 500 entries arrived from all over the world, so we are especially proud that we held our own among such strong international competition.

On 12 November 2025, the Eiffel Workshop House in Budapest hosted a first in Hungarian business history: the Vidéki Vállalkozók Éjszakája (Night of Regional Entrepreneurs) powered by Volkswagen, dedicated entirely to recognising micro, small and medium-sized businesses from outside the capital

The initiative generated extraordinary interest right from its first year: nearly 300 applications were received from 136 businesses across 110 settlements throughout the country. From this exceptionally strong field, we stood out and received the Innovative Regional Business of the Year award.

For us, this award is more than just recognition. It is a confirmation that the path we are walking as a rural business truly creates value.

Petrik Ida, the founder of Vidéki Vállalkozók Éjszakája and founding managing director of the Modern & Stylish Countryside Business Community (MSVK), shared her thoughts on the event:

“We believe that the true strength of the Hungarian economy lies in regional businesses. When we launched the call for the Regional Entrepreneur of the Year awards, our goal was to shine a spotlight on SMEs operating outside of the capital. The response exceeded my every expectation, and I am especially glad that after the announcement, the whole country came together, with so many people joining, supporting and wanting to help. This shows that the future of rural Hungary is a shared cause, and together we are capable of more.”

We are proud to announce that our AXIS PRO measuring device has won yet another international award, bringing its total number of professional recognitions to eight. The international jury of BIG SEE awarded our measuring machine the Product Design Award in the Work category. The grand award ceremony took place as part of the Slovenian Design Week held in Ljubljana, where our Marketing Manager Magdaléna Losonczi accepted the award following a short product presentation.

We are particularly proud that we did not apply for this award ourselves. Our measuring device was selected by international curators and included among the recognised designs

We are immensely proud that our Managing Director, István Losonczi, has been elected President of the Békés County chapter of the National Federation of Entrepreneurs and Employers (VOSZ). He takes over the role from László Mihály Nagy, who led the organisation for 25 years.

We wish them every success in their work, and trust that the organisation will continue along the path set by its predecessors, supporting the growth of the local business community.

István Losonczi, Managing Director of Losonczi Innovation Kft., was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 title by VOSZ (the National Federation of Entrepreneurs and Employers). Remarkably, this is the second time our company’s leader has received this most prestigious national business recognition, as István Losonczi Sr. was the recipient of the same award back in 2004, nearly twenty years ago.

The Hungarian Entrepreneurs’ Day ceremony was held for the 24th time on 1 December in Budapest, at the Müpa arts centre. The occasion has now become an official commemorative day, as at VOSZ’s initiative, the National Assembly unanimously declared the first Friday of December to be Hungarian Entrepreneurs’ Day, expressing cross-party recognition and support for those who contribute to the development of Hungary’s market economy as entrepreneurs and business leaders.

The Mach-Tech Industry Days and Automotive Hungary exhibition is the country’s largest mechanical and automotive industry event, gathering the finest professionals and an audience eager for innovation every two years. It is a great honor for us that our TOWER PRO measuring instrument has been awarded the Mach-Tech Grand Prix in 2024. It is the second instrument in our PRO measuring machine family to receive this prestigious recognition, following the AXIS PRO two years ago. On behalf of Losonczi Innovation, the award and certificate were accepted by István Losonczi Sr. and István Losonczi Jr.

Losonczi Innovation has earned the Industry 4.0 Professional Medal in the competition announced by the Ministry of Culture and Innovation, in recognition of its outstandingly successful professional activity in the SME (small and medium-sized enterprise) category within the field of innovation.

At the ceremony held in the ceremonial hall of Semmelweis University, our CEO, István Losonczi, accepted the award from a representative of the Ministry. Following the award ceremony, all laureates participated in a roundtable discussion, sharing their insights on the domestic economic and innovation landscape.
